Mustang Rules
- Bat your entire line-up regardless of the number of players for the opposing team.
- Players must change positions every two innings and may not replay the same position during a game. Attempt to play all players an equal amount of innings.
- Five run limit per inning - except for the last inning.
- Free substitution for the catchers during the game -one out or two.
- Stealing/Leads -
- April - No leads runners may only leave the base after the ball crosses the plate.
- May/June - Runners may take leads and may steal at any time.
- No balks - instruction only.
- A dropped 3rd strike is an out.
- Pitching
- Pitchers may pitch up to 3 innings per game. If they pitch 3 innings they must have 40 hours rest before they pitch again. Pitchers may pitch up to 8 innings per week. A week is from Monday morning till Sunday evening. This is consistent with the PONY rule book.

To keep established pitcher/catcher combinations together – catchers are allowed to catch for three consecutive innings. All other players, exclusive of pitchers and catchers, should be rotated every two innings.
